Purchased from a family who had occupied the home for 60 years, the townhouse on Garfield was in a state of disrepair, to say the least. There was no working heat, unsafe electrical wiring, and the back wall of the house was separated from the rest of the structure. It needed everything.
UNICORN executed a comprehensive Design | Build program, working with the homeowner to create a new floorplan that worked for their needs. We created 3D renderings of the entire space, managed all of the DoB filings and permitting, and prepared the property and the neighbors for construction.
The build included an excavated basement and new foundation, an entirely new structure throughout (including rebuilding the rear wall), all new mechanicals, roof, and brownstone. UNICORN built the stunning interior finishes, including custom millwork, white oak kitchen cabinetry, marble countertops, and custom finishes throughout.  The finished product speaks for itself, and will serve the family for many years to come.
