The owners of this townhouse knew that they had a problem. The floors were sagging, and stairs had shifted, and the cracks were showing throughout the building.Â
UNICORN executed a comprehensive Design | Build program here, creating 3D renderings of the entire space, working with the homeowner to design her dream home, and working with Landmarks to approve the project with the city.
We built an entire new structure for the top 3 floors of the house, installed all new heat, air conditioning, plumbing & electric throughout the home. With the help of our industry partners, UNICORN brought this house from the 1800’s into today’s modern world.
Simultaneously, we honored the original aesthetic, with custom trim work throughout the house, custom white oak stairs built to match the original stairs, and kitchen and bathroom finishes that create a stunning interior. From start to finish, the construction process here was completed in 9 months.
